The body of actor David Carradine has been repatriated to the U.S. from Bangkok, according to local press reported Monday.
Carradine's body was placed on a United Airlines flight bound for the United States on 12.00 GMT on Friday, said the newspaper "The Nation".
Although police are still investigating the death of actor, it aims to accidental suffocation in an erotic act as the probable cause of death Carradine.
police authorities, which have not yet ruled out other possibilities, however, indicated that the actor's friends doubt that death is due to a criminal act or a suicide.
The body of 72 year old actor, who is credited with over a hundred films, was discovered on Thursday in the closet of his room at the Nai Lert Park Swisshotel with a nylon cord around his neck and genitals.
Police sources, who indicated that investigations can take several weeks, indicated that there were no signs of struggle in the room which was locked from inside, or bruises on the body.
The U.S. Embassy criticized the lack of privacy in the case, after the details of the death of actor were rapidly disseminated among the Thai media.
